Not everyone will show symptoms so its important to regularly test as well as after each new sexual partner. Most STIs are teated with antibiotics.

Overall, the number of STI diagnoses in the UK rose by 24% compared with 2021,
from 317,000 to close to 392,500 at the end of 2022.
